We're excited to announce that Students2Speak will be sending two teams to the bi-annual Queen's University Debating Competition. It is one of the most prestigious competitions of the year, and debaters will have the chance to significantly improve their skills by participating.

Due to limited spots, Students2Speak can only send 4 Debaters to this tournament. Please enter your name and email if you are interested using the form below, and we will decide who to send based on the student's performance in class and comfortability with public speaking. The tournament fee (for the university) is $30CAD, as indicated on the tournament package that's attached to this email. You can e-transfer the payment to us only after we confirm with you; please let us know by July 20th at the latest if you would like to represent Students2Speak.

This tournament will be held in BP, and will be judged exclusively by the top CUSID University and College debaters, which is to ensure you get the best judging quality and the best feedback to improve. This tournament will take place from August 13 to August 15. Each debater will have 5 guaranteed rounds over the course of the tournament. If you make it to semifinals or finals, you get the chance to debate even more!

Debaters that have less experience are welcome to join! This tournament is for novice debaters (under 2 years of debate experience). Consequently, this tournament will feature good judging that will help debaters improve and grow.

Being one of the best debating Universities In Canada, The McGill University Development Cup is a great way to improve your skills! Along with the tournament, there will also be Seminars to help guide new debaters. The tournament fee is $25 and + the seminars is $35.

Sacred Heart debate camp is a summer debate camp held virtually this summer. There will be seminars and debate round. It will foster a growth oriented environment, where newer debaters can also improve.
